December 2023 newsletter

I don't know about you, but every year before Christmas, I feel that life doesn't get busier than this. Besides shopping for presents, many people want to meet (and I want to meet them), and at some point, it feels hectic. Every evening, once the kids are in bed, my wife and I feel like we've conquered another small victory and got through the day.

That's why I look forward to the days right after Christmas when everything calms down for a week. I hope your time before the big holidays is calmer - if it is, let me know your secret! :-)

Let's take a look at what I want to cover today. I have:

  1. one gift for you,
  2. a new photography tour in the Czech Republic, and
  3. one question for you.

Free giveaway

I want to offer ten free 1:1 calls with me as my thank you to you. If you have any questions about photography, your photography business, or your photo website and think I may help you, book a free 20-minute video call with me.

The Czech Republic Photo Tour 2024

I have announced a 10-day photography tour in the Czech Republic in late May 2024. It's my longest photo tour yet, and it features several UNESCO Heritage Sites, private access to a couple of gorgeous interiors, stunning landscapes, and cultural shoots, such as inside a glasswork workshop.

If you'd like to get to know my country better, I'm thrilled to show you around and help you take some fantastic photos and experiences.

My apologies for repeating myself. I asked this question last month, but as it was the first time I used the survey functionality, I didn't adhere to the best practices and made it complicated for you guys to reply.

I did receive your replies, so if you submitted one last month, you don't have to do it now. But if you didn't share last time, I'd appreciate it if you could do it this time.

Sneak peek

Over the last several weeks, I've been working on a travel photography mini course. It focuses on topics that many of you struggle with. I expect to launch the mini course next month, so stay tuned!

By the way, it's going to be completely free.

Inspiration from Istanbul

Before we finish, I want to share some photos I took in Istanbul on the extension of the Cappadocia photo tour in September. Istanbul is freaking amazing for travel photographers! And when it rains, you have countless marvelous mosque interiors or markets to photograph.

Dear , let me wish you a Merry Christmas and a pleasant time with your loved ones. Remember to slow down and appreciate the present time. Embrace little mishaps and try to laugh about them. Finish this year strong and believe that 2024 will be even better.

PS: I'm looking forward to watching Love Actually during the holidays. That's my guilty pleasure.
